Our clients loved Japan and wanted their master bedroom to be a multi-functional space that could meet their daily needs such as sleeping, lounging and napping while also being able to enjoy their hobbies like reading and playing on their laptop. Multi-functional homes that provide quality long nights of rest, storage and office space are not hard to achieve and the design can be simple and minimalistic.

To fully maximise the platform & their display shelving, they went for top hang Shoji Door which also helps to complete the Japanese aesthetic. The Shoji Door has Washi Paper on both sides and there is a transparent acrylic sandwiched in the middle of the Washi Paper so that sunlight can pass through. This style ensures that the shoji door does not appear glossy and has an authentic look.
