Dealing with Spillages
An easy & quick guide to deal with spillages effectively.
1. Soak up excess liquid with a dry cloth
2. Wipe affected area with a damp cloth
If spillage leaves a sticky residue
3. Use a toothbrush to scrub off residue with mild detergent, then wipe foam off with a damp cloth
4. Prop Tatami up on its side & ventilate affected area for 45 minutes with a fan
Note: Apart from red wine, most food spillages are pretty easy to handle if dealt with quickly.
